Salary: $45000 to $55,000 per year. To be negotiated.

JOB REQUIREMENT
Education
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience
Minimum 3 years Events/Conference management experience (preferably hotels)

Specific Skills
Ensure guests receive the highest level of food quality and service for their event
Ensure all function details are obtained from event coordinator and communicated to all resort department heads
Respond to all function and event inquiries
Manage all functions and events from inquiry to event date
Ensure billing procedures are followed
Communicate with Guest Services and Reservations to ensure all resort requirements are delivered
Manage and develop the events team
Monitor and strive for the annual budget
Develop relationships with guests, key suppliers and industry associates
Lay out goals and develop strategies to accomplish said goals
Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline employees your department to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met.
