• Salary: $25.00 / hour

• Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time, 40 hours / week
• Start date: As soon as possible

• Employment conditions: must be available to work in any shift including Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend and Holidays
Job requirements
Languages: English
Education: High School or equivalent. Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is an asset.
Experience: 1-2 years or more supervisory experience in the industry
Credentials: Safe Food Handling certificate (can be obtained and provide within 3 weeks of commencing employment
Ability to Supervise: up to 15 people
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, Overtime required, Large workload, Ability to lift 25lb – 50lb.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Reports to director of Food and Beverage/ Executive Chef, Food and Beverage Operations Manager
Integration of Secwepemc culture into all aspects of the Resort experience
Monitor and maintain cleanliness of dining room and work areas
Conduct performance reviews
Assist with organization, direction and evaluation of food and beverage quality levels based on well-defined service expectations
Cost products and services
Assist in purchasing & control of beverage inventory and organize and maintain inventory
Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
Monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices
Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
Negotiate arrangements while developing relationships with current and future suppliers for food and other supplies
Develop and maintain wine and beverage menu’s
Participate in meetings, marketing plans and contribute to resort strategy , policy making and implementation
Assist with planning and implementation of special events
Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
Provide customer service and address customers’ complaints or concerns
Recruit, train and supervise staff
