Job Description

Travelodge located on 868 Frontage Rd McBride, BC V0J 2E0 is looking for a Motel Manager. The right candidate must share our commitment to providing the highest quality of service to our guests to ensure a pleasant and memorable experience. This is a year-round, full – time position.
• The right candidate will negotiate procurements with current and potential vendors, implement and ensure that all policies and procedures and followed.
• Recruit and supervise staff, oversee training, and set work schedules.
• Will work closely with the motel owner to develop promotional strategies.
• Ensure that the guest’s overall experience during their stay in the motel meets their expectations in terms of cleanness and comfort, resolve guests’ complaints.

Qualifications:
• A university degree or college diploma in hotel management or other related discipline is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience within the accommodation industry may substitute formal education requirements.
• Possess good communication skills in English, and the ability to work flexible hours that may include weekends and holidays.

We are offering $29.00/hr. 40 hours/week
