Industrial Painter (Aircraft Painter) (NOC 9536)
• Location Gravenhurst, ON
• Salary $20.53 to $30.00 / Hour depending on experience
• 8 Vacancies
• Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time 40 -44 Hours / Week ; part-time also available for those who required
• Start date As soon as possible

Education No degree, certificate or diploma
Experience 1 to 2 years of experience either in Automobile painting or Aircraft painting. Experience with electrostatic spray guns will be an asset; On job training will be provided for candidates who have only automobile painting experiences. Specialized industrial training and certification can be replaced for experience.
Credentials specialized training and certification or college courses related to Aviation painting can be an asset

Specific Skills:
Tend or operate equipment to spray or coat, Tend or operate equipment to prepare items for application of protective or decorative coatings, Select appropriate paint or mix paints, Paint small items and apply touch-ups using paint brushes, Prepare and mix metallizing solutions according to formulas or specifications, Clean and maintain equipment, Check proper thickness of plating using micrometers, callipers or other devices, Prepare and apply stencils, decals or other decorative items on finished products, Operate and control: electroplating equipment to coat metal, hot-dip metal plating equipment to galvanize metal and/or spray equipment to build up worn or damaged parts, Tend automatic metal coating machines which convey objects through a series of cleaning, rinsing and plating solutions; Clean work area

Surface Preparation Methods: Water blasting, Abrasive disc wheel, Flame cleaning, Masking, Chemical techniques, Removing old coatings manually, Sandblasters, Etching, Abrasive head blasting, Steam cleaning
