Job Description: A Landscaping Supervisor supervises and co-ordinates the activities of workers and the workplace. They are responsible for managing all field operations and coordinate the acquirement of materials to ensure maximum use and completion of work within budget, quality standards and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities:
• Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of workers who maintain lawns, gardens, fields, parks, interior plantscapes and other landscaped areas.
• Conduct general maintenance duties such as cleaning walkways, repair and maintain equipment, or order materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Organize and direct planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, along with any construction work such as masonry or landscape construction including fountains, walkways, fences, decks, or walls.
• Establish work schedules and procedures, along with supervision of nursery and greenhouse workers.
• Plan, manage and supervise landscape work.

Requirements
• Completion of Secondary School or Bachelor’s of Engineering in Power Engineering.
• Experience as a landscape or horticulture supervisor or as a landscaper or horticulture technician is required.
• Ability to safely apply chemical fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, and pesticides to remove harmful insects from plants.
• Ability to have the knowledge of different necessities and care instructions that each plant has, to ensure successful plant growth.

• Effective time management.
• Ability to problem solve in the event of work-related issues.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time including sitting, walking, bending, crouching etc.
• Knowledge of public safety and security operations and systems, of policy, regulations, and procedures for the protection of people, dates, and property.
• Knowledge of materials, methods, tools, and equipment involved in the repair of plants.
