Shifts: Rotating on-call, Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 4 pm. Irregular hours, OT, and occasional travel may be required.

Oil Burner Technician Certification – Class 1 or Class 2 (Ontario) is required.
Minimum of 5 years experience working in the field.
Experience inspecting generators, fuel systems, diesel tanks, and boilers required.
Must hold a valid Class G driver’s license, clean abstract required.
Own tools required.
Mechanical, plumbing, and fuel inspection skills.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and computer skills.
Adaptable and able to work independently in the field and under pressure.
Time Management, organizational and problem-solving skills
HVAC, Gas, Welding certifications are an asset.
Bilingual would be an asset.
Physical exertion: walking, standing, bending, climbing stairs/ladders. Must be able to lift/move up to 100lbs.
Working at heights, in confined spaces, in all weather conditions, and with lubricants, coolant, and other chemicals.
Security/drug test required.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform fuel inspections on power generator systems.
Perform major and minor repairs to various mechanical systems.
Plumbing repairs and modifications to fuel and exhaust systems.
Carry out start-up inspections of new or rebuilt equipment installations.
Ensure proper in-house maintenance is performed on vehicles, work-shop, yard, shop equipment and tools.
Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and suppliers.
Complete all required administrative work-order documentation to ensure costs are correctly allocated, and customer information is captured.
Other duties as required.
