Purchasing Manager

Job Description

Main Job Duties
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the purchasing activities;
• Develop purchasing policies and procedures;
• Identify vendors of materials, equipment or supplies;
• Evaluate cost and quality of goods or services;
• Review and process claims against suppliers.

Job Requirements:
• A college’s diploma in business administration, trade or related field (preferred);
• 3 years of purchase experience (preferred).

Job Criteria:
Start Date: As soon as possible
Position Type: Full-Time Permanent
Wage: $42.50 to $45.00 per hour
Benefit: After the probationary period, you will join the company’s group benefit program
Vacation Time: 2 weeks / year

Company Profile:
We are proud of our past at Meridian RV. Since our Incorporation in 1967, we have been involved in the RV Industry. Originally founded by Doug Ramsay Sr. along with his 2 sons, Meridian Mobile Mfg. Ltd. manufactured a variety of custom built mobile homes, trailers, campers, and chassis, mount motorhomes. In addition Meridian Mobile Mfg. Ltd. specialized in RV parts, repairs, and service. In 1995 the decision was made to change the name from Meridian Mobile Mfg. Ltd. to Meridian R.V. Mfg. Ltd. as it more clearly defined what we did. After 37 years of RV service, repairs, parts, and, manufacturing, in 2004 we decided to get into new RV sales. We started with only new tent trailers and today we specialize in every type of towable, whether it be a tent trailer, travel trailer, fifth wheel or toy hauler.
