Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Specific Skills: Start up, shut down, adjust and monitor robotic welding production line; Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment; Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment; Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines; Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment; Interpret welding process specifications; Fit, braze and torch-straighten metal; Determine weldability of materials; Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air), (AOC); Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products; Operate previously set-up brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or to fill holes, indentations and seams of metal; Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
Equipment and Machinery Experience: Gas welding machine; Arc welding machine
Additional Skills: Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes; Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
Area of Specialization: Fencing, balconies, stairs and railings
Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Work Site Environment: Noisy; Dusty; Hot
